Gaelic mythology is a vast, rich collection of lore. History tells us that in the early centuries of the second millennium the Tuatha Dé Danann, the Children of Danu, ruled Eire and how they prospered.

It did not last though, and when the Milesians invaded Eire, history tells us that Danu’s children were defeated. What happened to the Tuatha Dé Danann history does not tell us.

Mythology tells us many things, such as when Danu's Children lost the battle a deal was struck and the Milesians would get the upper ground of Eire and that the Tuatha Dé Danann would get the Underground. Some myths say that they used their magics to travel to another dimension of space and time. While other myths say that Manannán mac Lir led them into the Sidhe, or “fairy mounds.”

But suppose that the Sidhe Otherworld was something else, suppose it was to another galaxy that Manannán led the Children of Danu; that they lived and flourished for thousands of years. It is here that we come across a young fénnid named Tallon Cathbad, whose history is just beginning.
